Creating a website with ActivPortal® has never been easier, thanks to the power of its content management system ("CMS"), combined with the ease of use of components within its "WYSIWYG" interface. Each component is dropped in the page designer through a simple "drag and drop." It is then personalised via a powerful wizard, guiding the user towards a rich and flexible rendering..

ActivPortal® comes with a wide range of components featuring various and varied content, both static (text, images, video, etc.) and dynamic (reporting components such as lists, crosstabs, graphs, maps, etc.).

With the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) at its heart, ActivPortal® components support the webmaster in the global configuration of the website in order to best meet the requirements of SEO and an optimal user experience.

In addition, ActivPortal® offers usage statistics and links to Google tools for a meticulous monitoring of site traffic.

Extranet

In addition to content management functions, ActivPortal® manages users centrally through an extranet, thanks to its ContactDB module to manage all contact settings and rights.

User templates simplify the bulk management of profiles:

configure users without knowing them beforehand (registration in user roles, rights in a model)
once identified, create the user by simply entering his identity and the corresponding user model: your user is created and benefits from the characteristics of his linked model.
Simply modify users en masse, by modifying the model linked to them!

ActivPortal® also has a multi-level hierarchy to delegate to users the management of other profiles and their underlying rights.

ActivPortal® is also ready to function as an identity or service provider via its Single Sign On (SSO) components, based on current market standards. User profile synchronisation issues are addressed through an automated creation and update module, based on customer data or a centralised identity management tool.

Extranet reporting

ActivPortal® allows the creation of highly customisable dashboards without writing a line of code. It also allows you to permit users to create and/or modify the reports that comprise them.

Its advanced query engine communicates with SQL data sources or OLAP Cubes, providing optimal performance and an enhanced user experience through extremely fast response and analysis times.

The tool is based on an internal meta-database (in the form of classified objects) allowing the user to free himself from technical constraints, which are remote upstream. He can thus focus on defining reports by simply dragging the business objects identified by their label into the desired areas (column, series, paragraph element, or query criterion). No knowledge of databases is required!

Administration allows you to define the data to which the user can have access (financial, sectoral, geographical, etc.) as well as the accessible functions (printing, modification, sharing, etc.).

The following view types are supported:

The flexible configuration of its integrated search engine allows ActivPortal® to find a specific customer, report or document, and thus quickly access information.

Once a data has been identified, the user accesses related details in the form of a "drill-down", or may perform actions related to this data. For example, once a batch of individuals has been identified based on certain criteria (e.g. sales representatives from the Northern Europe zone, selling a product X), it can effortlessly generate and send them a personalised message, with dynamic content.

Save time, gain productivity with the Context report. This gives the user the necessary autonomy to customise his own views, based on a predefined data set upstream, and frees you from creating as many reports as there are clients!

Export functionalities to different formats (e.g. Excel, PDF) are available in one click!

Thanks to its Plugin for Microsoft Office, your users can quickly integrate reports built in ActivPortal®, in an Excel file or PowerPoint presentation. You had built a presentation, but the data has changed in the meantime? Just relax, the data will be automatically updated in the presentation as soon as you open it again!

Similarly, the Excel Web Query feature refreshes the data in an Excel sheet, with no action other than authentication.

Your users will no longer have to check regularly for changes in data. ActivPortal® is proactive through the subscription module. All they have to do is subscribe to a report, to receive a notification or the report itself (depending on a degree of criticality or confidentiality) thanks to a "push" principle. The subscription can be configured and allows you to define sending frequency (e.g. the first day of each month), or the rules to be checked to trigger the push action, and thus be instantly informed (examples of rules: reaching a limit/threshold, a objective achieved, etc.).

Mobile application

The ActivPortal® application for tablets and mobiles iOS and Android is developed in hybrid mode. It combines native code and dynamic content to make the proposed content evolve, without having to republish it in application stores ("AppStore/Play Store"), and thus avoid related issues (processing time, risks of rejection).

Its look&feel is customisable in the ActivPortal® administration console, as is the definition of the application's content (home page, menu, contents...) which does not require any additional line of code. Benefit from the same components as the Web-based management and reporting contents, and streamline existing content on your website and/or extranet, within your mobile application.

If a user has access to the website / extranet, he is already ready to use his mobile application, where he will benefit from advanced features related to his device (geolocation, biometrics, photo, notifications, etc.)!

Automation

The Doowif assistant (for "Do what if...") allows you to automate actions based on events or data updates: “Doowif, do this if that happens!”

ActivPortal® offers by default a certain number of actions such as generating and sending an e-mail, a mobile notification, a fax, a form to collect information, launch a business function... Thanks to its flexibility, ActivPortal® adapts to your core business and allows the creation of specific actions for your back-office.

CRM / Call center

This module allows you to define all your contacts and customise the data you want to manage.

Using forms, you generate and assign tasks to teams or individuals. The workflow takes over and ensures their follow-up and related interactions.

All user activities on the website, extranet or mobile application are automatically linked to the contact and can then be used for improvement or decision-making purposes.

The survey and campaign module combines CRM database reporting data, and user usage, to obtain relevant results without adding to the administrative burden. Defining the target of a campaign becomes as simple as building a report, especially by capitalising the same objects as those defined in the reporting module.

All these features make it possible to provide a call center with a solution directly linked to an automatic switchover, and automatically load the dashboards, based on the caller's number. Dynamic forms can also be used as Scripting: depending on the answer given to a question, the system automatically determines the next question.

The integration of all data on a single page increases the operator's efficiency and productivity.
