In partnership with the French Riviera Airports Company, Blue Wave Software has developed a cutting-edge parking spot booking and payment solution.

Thanks to this responsive and user-friendly online solution, customers are guided through along the way and may:

  • have a clear view of their parking offer
  • have a guaranteed parking spot within a selected car park
  • pay for the parking and booking fees upfront, with a possible cancellation option

The online parking spot booking and payment system is composed of 4 modules:

  1. Rate calculator

    The customers define their preferred dates and times of entry and exit, and possibly a target area (Terminal, points of interests, etc.).
    The calculator offers all the available and corresponding parking lots and spots, related rates and relevant details.

  2. Front-office

    Booking of a parking space by the Client

    The Customers access the online booking area of the website, possibly via the rate calculator, select the desired booking dates and identify themselves (an account is created on-the-fly for new users). The customers validate their order and pay: by credit card for individuals, by direct debit or credit card for travel agencies. They then receive a confirmation e-mail with a 6-digit access code (or a 2D barcode).
    As an option, the customers can also receive their access code via SMS/MMS and via the Passbook ticket portfolio. The minimum time to make a reservation before the desired use date, is a few minutes.

    Use of a booking by the Client

    On the day of the reservation, the customers enter their code on the keyboard of the entry terminal (or presents his 2D barcode). A ticket is issued and the gate opens.
    On their return, the customers insert the entry ticket directly into the exit terminal.
    If the customers have met the scheduled exit date, the gate opens. In the case where the scheduled exit date has been exceeded, the customers can pay the additional parking fee by credit card directly at the exit point to open the gate.

  3. Back-office

    Exploitation

    The Car Park Control Centre receives a daily e-mail with the reservations for the started day. In addition, it controls and manages all the park entries and exits, through an online access to all customer order data (including the access code).
    The supervisors manage exceptions:

    • Any accepted withdrawal request (within 7 days) automatically generates an e-mail to the accounting department as well as to the customer who receives confirmation of the processing of his request.
    • Any customer complaint is processed after checking the data in the back office.

    Administration

    The administration module was designed as flexible as possible to allow the management of the following configurations:

    • Car parks: capacities, prices, etc.
    • Vehicle types / seats (LV, 2 wheels, Persons with Reduced Mobility)
    • Types of customers (individuals, travel agencies)
    • Booking time periods
    • Safety stock, flexibility periods
    • Promotional codes and time frames
    • Geo-location in the parking lots and itineraries
    • Booking and invoice tracking
    • CRM support: customer database
    • Invoicing of Travel Agencies
    • User and access rights management
    • Business intelligence: automatic reports, report subscription, Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Excel exports, report creation as required (list, cross-tables, charts & graphes)
    • Information flow monitoring
  4. Reponsive User Interface

    All the User Interfaces are responsive, meaning that they can any reviewed on any link of device, whether it is a desktop computer, a tablet or a smartphone:
